Lunch in the Lot (Food Truck Wednesday)
Wednesday, Sept. 28
11-2 p.m.
Oak St Mill, 19725 Oak St

Each and every Wednesday, a different truck meets at Oak St. Mill to serve the tastiest culinary creations on 4-wheels to the OTC community. This week, come out and meet the folks at Lobster Dogs, a food truck making some waves in the scene. The crew specializes in fresh lobster, shrimp, and crab dogs. What’re those? In a word, delicious–fresh lobster, crab or shrimp served in a toasted split top bun, topped with lemon butter and seasonings.

If seafood isn’t your thing, try the loaded avocado, so very fresh and so very tasty!

Academy Nominated Film ‘Street Fight’
Friday and Saturday, Sept. 30-Oct. 1
5 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
Sunday, Oct. 2
2:30 p.m.
The Warehouse Performing Arts Center, 9216 Westmoreland Rd

With a presidential election upon us and protests in the street behind us, the Warehouse Cinema’s choice to screen “Street Fight,” an Academy Award Nominated documentary by Charlotte Film Maker, Marshall Curry couldn’t be more timely.

Cory Booker’s fierce 2002 mayoral campaign in Newark, New Jersey wasn’t the only notable beef he has played out on the big screen. Booker once banned comedian Conan O’Brian from the Newark airport after O’Brian jokingly insulted the city of Newark. Then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton called for the feud to end during a prepared comedy bit.

Find out why the San Francisco Chronicle is saying this film, “should be required viewing before every election.” Tickets are less than $10 and include a complimentary beverage.

Check our events calendar for even more great local happenings – all of them fantastic opportunities to get out and enjoy your local arts and cultural destination, Old Town Cornelius.
