Mark your calendars for SATURDAY OCT 27 and celebrate Halloween OTC style with games, 🤹 raffles, 🎫 food trucks, 🚚 craft breweries, 🍺 street vendors, 🎪 live music 🎵 & performances 🃏 AND a costume contest 🏆 to WIN AWESOME prizes that are donated by our local businesses and artists!
Children are entered in the raffle if they successfully complete the Halloween scavenger map!
The Block Party is at Oak St Mill, 19725 Oak St 28031 with the scavenger hunt taking place all around the streets of Old Town!
Trick-ot-Treat! It’s time for the annual tradition! Halloween in OTC features a trick-or-treat scavenger hunt throughout town, where families and kids visit local participating businesses, receive candy, and get a sticker that goes towards filling up their maps. Once they visit all of the businesses on the map (or at least most of them), they turn their maps in and be entered to win several prize packs of awesome items donated from the local businesses.
The event has been a huge success for the past five years and now in it's 6th year, we will be again amping things up with a Block Party celebration at Oak St Mill that will feature live music, a costume contest, creepy kids crafts, food trucks, craft beer, and other fun Halloween-themed activities. Families will still enjoy the Trick-Or-Treat Scavenger Hunt throughout Old Town and will also have extra incentive to stick around town and enjoy a fun, family-friendly Halloween Party throughout the evening. The Scavenger Hunt will officially take place from 2-6 pm and the Block Party will go from 2-8 pm.

The Stough-Cornelius Store once stood at the corner of Main St and Catawba Ave. Due to RJ Stough's decision to re-locate his cotton weighing scales in 1885, the area developed to be what we now call home, Cornelius.
