7:30-9:45 p.m.
Old Town Public House, 21314 Catawba Ave.

If you haven’t been to one of Old Town Public House’s regular Tuesday trivia nights, this week is the week to change that. Hosted by Sean Lewis, founder of Thinkin’ and Drinkin,’ this team-based trivia experience is free to play and all players receive $1 off draft beers (or wines or sodas) for the duration of the game. The three rounds of play begin at 7:30 p.m., 8:15 p.m. and 9 p.m. Your team does not have to be present for all three rounds, as the scores start over each round. Trivia will include general knowledge questions, with clues released via Facebook and Twitter throughout the week.thinkin-and-drinkin-cover-photo

Old School Hip Hop Brunch

11 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Cork and Cask, 9624 Bailey Rd.

hip-hop

Two Sunday morning traditions are combining at Cork and Cask for an experience you can’t miss: Old school Hip Hop accompanies a special brunch, to satisfy your hunger and your hearing in ways you can’t find anywhere else.

The old school hip hop menu will include some old school brunch favorites as well as some “new releases”, and several nostalgic 80s and 90s hip hop-themed drink specials.

The Panthers are on a bye week, so you can head to brunch without missing our home team, and if you ask nicely, the Cork and Cask staff will gladly put on your preferred game in the background.
