Culinary Arts on Four Wheels at 2nd Friday

The best type of dinner? Brought to you and served fresh, and prepared on four wheels! Here are all the must-eats you can find at the August 9 2nd Friday Street Festival.

At the upcoming 2nd Friday, you can eat at Momo Truck, Crafty Burg’r, Carolina Smash Truck, Lobster Dogs, or Clean Juice. Stick around after your meal and enjoy a brew from The Olde Mecklenburg Brewery, Eleven Lakes Brewing Company, Red Clay Ciderworks or D9 Brewing!

“It’s great to see the community being able to take in the culture, food, music, and most importantly, having fun spending time with family, friends and enjoying their town.”

— Mike Hosey from Clean Juice

Clean Juice Food Truck provides a delicious and healthy alternative by offering smoothies and açaí bowls, all made with certified organic ingredients. Need a personal recommendation? Try Alex’s Cherry Lemonade from its summer menu: strawberries, cherries, lemon, maple syrup, coconut water, and chia seeds. Yum!

Alongside Clean Juice, there will be four alternative options to pick from for an incredible dinner at 2nd Friday.

  • Momo Truck is a Charlotte-based staple that serves “Himilayan flavors”, including dumplings and rice bowls. With a unique menu, Momo is perfect to try for new takes on classic Asian cuisines.
  • Crafty Burg’r offers a fresh alternative for burgers and classic comfort foods, like its Loaded Mac N’ Cheese.
  • Carolina Smash Truck specializes in “gourmet grilled cheese and southern style sides” along with smashing different foods together for a tasty meal.
  • Lobster Dogs…Take a trip to the up north with these Maine style lobster and seafood rolls. With a limited menu, there is no stress about what to get; it’s all great!

Come on out on August 9 to experience some of the mouth-watering food options that the Lake Norman area has to offer! The HC Oakes Band will be playing later on that night, so invite your friends and family to the best night of the month!
