Food Truck Saturday

rue-peeps-and-truckFood Trucks and great craft beer make a winning combination and this Saturday OTPH is bringing both to you here in #OTC with the launch of “Food Truck Saturdays. ” Each Saturday, Old Town Public House will now open at 12;00pm with a rotating schedule of food trucks parked outside for a perfect afternoon pick-me up. The scheduled food truck for this Saturday is Rue 72 which specializes in fish and chips – perfect to pair with the best local craft beer.

Imagine escaping to a Parisian studio for some wine, and painting, and wine, and painting. No need to fly – just head to Café Elie in the Chair Factory this Friday and “wine-d” down with some friends at #OTC’s art studio.elie3

The warm, welcoming, world-renowned artist, Elie Bou Zeidan, who painted the mural “Café Des Artistes” on Catawba Avenue, offers regular Sip & Sketch classes in his Main Street shop. He invites you to bring your favorite bottle of wine and your BFFs, and he’ll supply the rest: canvasses, paints, and an art lesson. At the end of the class, you will leave with a beautiful painting worthy of display in your own home.

Cost is $35 and includes the canvas and supplies. Register here

Christmas in Cornelius Local Artisan Market

Rain can delay us, but can’t dampen our spirits! The Christmas in Cornelius celebration, originally planned for Dec. 4, opens instead this Sunday, Dec 11. Join the Bella Love crew this starting at noon in the heart of #OTC, Oak St. Mill. This artisan market is the perfect opportunity to get a jump on holiday shopping and get one-of-a-kind gifts made by artists and crafters all based locally. Make giving as exciting as receiving this year with a handmade gift from a local artist.
