The YMCA of Greater Charlotte’s Response to COVID-19

For nearly 150 years, the YMCA of Greater Charlotte has had a prominent voice in our community. Their focus on youth development, social responsibility, and healthy living has supported countless people in their efforts to improve the world around them. That being said, the YMCA of Greater Charlotte is in a unique position, as their community is in greater need of support now, yet they have had to temporarily close all 19 of their locations. Because of this predicament, they have channeled their creativity to build new opportunities for community support, social-distancing-style.

Cain Center of the Arts Releases Final Designs

On June 2, 2020, the Cain Center for the Arts Released its final design renderings for the future space. This highly-anticipated news has spurred excitement in the community, as the excitement to welcome the Cain Center for the Arts to the OTC Scene grows.

A fun mix of modern and vintage home decor just landed in the Oak Street Mill, called The Bungalow Market. The shop is locally owned by husband and wife team, Brett and Greta McCoy from the LKN area.
